At 13 cents a round in the widely available .22lr, and aside from the light recoil, this rifle functions and feels just like a  AR-15 chambered in 5.56. Buy it to shoot and train with now during the ammo shortage and easily covert it to 5.56/.223 when ammo eventually returns. Everything is mil-spec and with only a simple barrel and bolt change can be quickly converted to 5.56 caliber. This rifle also makes an excellent first AR-15 for some one new to the platform, especially for women who are interested in owning an AR-15 for home defense but wary of the recoil that comes with the larger caliber. Included with this rifle is a 2-point bungee sling, AT3 flip up iron sights, and two CMMG .22lr magazines.
